The Leadership of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) Alumni Association has paid a courtesy call on Prof. Frederick Kwaku Sarfo to congratulate him on his Investiture as the foundation Vice-Chancellor of AAMUSTED.

Led by the Association’s Vice-President, Mrs. Milicent Pimpong, the Alumni Association paid glowing tribute to Prof. Sarfo for the exemplary feat achieved as the first Vice-Chancellor of Ghana’s Premier Public TVET and Entrepreneurial Development Teacher Education University.

They also assured him of the Alumni Association’s unwavering support, cooperation, and collaboration to achieve greatness for AAMUSTED during his tenure.

They presented a citation of honour to the Vice-Chancellor to remind him of how proud the Alumni Association is about his elevation n to the high office of a Vice-Chancellor.

The citation read in part, “…your impressive work of almost 30 years as a teacher, avid researcher, and successful administrator inspires untold confidence in the Alumni Association that you are the best fit for leading our Great University in the right direction.”

Prof. Sarfo expressed joy over the Alumni Association’s gesture. He was thankful for the confidence the Alumni had reposed in him to do great things for AAMUSTED and assured them that he would do his utmost best to push the frontiers of the University forward before his term ended.

He also assured the Association of the readiness of the University to collaborate with it for the good of AAMUSTED. He reiterated his pledge to allocate a furnished office on campus to the Association to advance its activities. He appealed to all alumni to rally together to help develop AAMUSTED for the benefit of future generations.

The Association also called on the Registrar, Mr. Augustus Kwaw Brew, to congratulate him on his swearing-in as the first substantive Registrar of the University. The Alumni Association presented a citation of honour to him as well.
