- The Association of African Universities(AAU), in collaboration with the United States Pharmacopeia, invites you to participate in an upcoming webinar being hosted under the theme, “Complimentary online resources to support pharmaceutical and manufacturing workforce development: USP-NF and USP Education Library”. This webinar seeks to discuss the importance of scientific quality standards and a skilled workforce for Africa’s growing pharmaceutical sector. It also seeks to introduce participants to the free online resources USP is offering to African universities, especially AAU members, offer guidance on how to access the program and respond to any questions that may arise. - The Association of African Universities Invites Stakeholders to Participate in a Capacity Building Workshop on – Fostering International Partnerships in Higher Education Institutions in Africa, 24th – 26th September, 2024, Harare, Zimbabwe: As part of the numerous benefits offered by the Association of African Universities (AAU) to its members, and in line with strengthening the capacity of leaders in Africa’s higher education ecosystem, the AAU is organizing a workshop for senior officers in African Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) concerned with strengthening partnerships for their institutions, including those from the International Offices and Partnership Units. - The AAU is calling for participation in an upcoming AnglophoneSocial Media Workshop. This workshop aims to present a unique opportunity for university social media officers to gain valuable insights, skills, and connections in the field of social media marketing and communications. - The Strengthening the Europe-Africa Digital Ecosystem through Increased Research & Innovation Cooperation (SEADE)Project announces a Call for Submission of Success Stories. The SEADE project is a two-year initiative funded by the European Union with the aim of deepening and broadening digital cooperation between Europe and Africa, and to address the gaps in the research value chain. The SEADE Project invites you to submit success stories recorded under your past projects and initiatives implemented within the research and innovation (R&I) sector. Participating in this initiative will not only showcase your accomplishments but also inspire collaboration and facilitate the exchange of valuable insights and lessons learned. - Moulay Ismaïl University, Morocco, is organizing the 4th edition of the African Innovation Competition “StarTech Africa”under the theme, “Innovation in Africa in the 21st century”. This special edition is being organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Morocco in partnership with several African universities and higher education institutions across the continent.

- The 2ndPan African Conference on CO2 Compensation – 2GAToCCC slated for 25-27th September is calling for submission of abstracts. The goal of the conference is to address the role of African communities in climate mitigation and adaptation. Abstracts can be submitted in English or French and should not exceed 300 words. - The Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program (CADFP) is accepting Project Requests from African host universities and Scholar Applications from qualified African academics in the diaspora in the United States and Canada. The CADFP is a scholar exchange program for African higher education institutions to host a diaspora scholar for 14-90 days for projects in curriculum co-development, collaborative research and graduate student teaching and mentoring. The CADFP is a two-sided application: a project request submitted by the African institution and a scholar application submitted by the diaspora scholar.
