He said his outfit would not renege on its role in the shared responsibility the Police and the University have towards ensuring safety on the campus.

Chief Superintendent Acheampong assured that he would provide the necessary leadership as Divisional Commander to ensure improved Police visibility and patrols on the campus.

The Vice-Chancellor, on his part, expressed gratitude to the Abuakwa Police for its meaningful contributions to the safety enjoyed on campus. He was happy that examinations of the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year had panned out peacefully, partly due to the presence of the Abuakwa Police on the campus.

Prof. Sarfo welcomed the partnership with the Police and assured Chief Superintendent Acheampong that the University would continue to provide support to facilitate smooth police operations on campus as much as it is within the University’s capability.
