I had my PhD in English from Lingnan University , Hong. My first and second degrees were done in University of Education, Winneba, Ghana. Sociolinguistics, applied linguistics, and communication and identity are areas of research interest to me. I am an awarded of FUNG Scholars, Hong Kong.  Through this scholarship, I had a three-month research visit and experience at University of Regensburg,  Germany.

I have been lecturing the following courses for nearly ten years at the tertiary level: Modern English Structure and Usage, Stylistics, English Language Teaching, English in Multilingual Context, Communication Skills, Textbook Production, Evaluation and Adaptation.
