On behalf of the Governing Council and the Management of Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), I wish to extend warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to our hardworking staff, students, and other stakeholders of our University. 2023 came along with great successes and many moments of joy for our University.

We are very proud of the progress we made this year. Management of the University is proud and highly appreciative of the various contributions that everybody made to maintain AAMUSTED on the trajectory of progress. We made very good strides towards achieving the University’s mandate.

We were blessed with a peaceful atmosphere for effective work and studies, we went about our core operations with efficiency, strengthened our bonds with our local and international partners, and recorded notable advancements in all spheres, including physical infrastructure, and student numbers. Our students also made us proud with their outstanding performances in the various national competitions in which they featured, including the Ninth Ghana Universities Debate Championship, GUSA Games, Cross-Country Championship, the Tertiary Sense Business Challenge, etc. Your constant commitment and tireless efforts were truly commendable.

We fondly remember three of our dedicated staff and a couple of our students who lost their lives in the course of the year and pray for their souls to rest peacefully.

The year 2024 is already beckoning.  I wish to encourage staff to take advantage of the few days’ break to prioritise self-care, spend quality time with family and loved ones, and return with renewed strength and high spirits to do more in the coming year. Our students have also rested enough to start the 2023/2024 academic year on a positive note. May this festive season be filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories.

Merry Christmas to you and your families.
