On behalf of the Management of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), I extend gratitude and deep appreciation to members of Convocation and all staff for their invaluable contributions to the development of AAMUSTED.
Particularly, as we join the world to celebrate the momentous occasion of Workers’ Day today, I wish to assure staff that their sacrifices, hard work, and dedication to the course of AAMUSTED have not been unnoticed.
Their expertise and professionalism in teaching, research, mentoring, and administration, is the reason AAMUSTED is fast gaining a reputation of excellence especially in TVET and Entrepreneurial Development Teacher Education.
National and international recognitions, including the Times Higher Education (THE) adjudging AAMUSTED best in Ghana and fourth best in Africa for Teaching Skills in 2023 and the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) naming AAMUSTED as Public University of the year 2024, speak volumes of the concerted efforts we have offered, thus far. We must be proud of ourselves!
While we celebrate our collective achievements today, I wish to remind staff that there is still more to do to surmount emerging challenges and break new grounds. We need to work together to achieve greater heights for AAMUSTED, for Ghana, Africa and the World.
Once again, I say Ayekoo to all AAMUSTED staff, all workers in Ghana and across the world.
Happy Workers’ Day!
