Mrs. Gertrude Effeh Brew
University Counsellor
The Guidance and Counselling Centre (GCC) was established in 2003 as a unit to provide guidance and counselling services as an integral part of the educational mission of AAMUSTED and promote the welfare and optimum development of the students into the University.
The primary aim is to provide educative programmes and activities to enable students to achieve both academic and personal success toward their career goals.
The Centre offers professional assistance to all students, faculty, and staff on personal, academic and vocational/career problems. It is intended to supplement the advisory duties performed by lecture, and assists students in formulating and achieving their academic, career and personal goals. The Centre also provides individual and group counselling, and psychological services.
The Guidance and Counselling Centre (GCC) would strive to deliver effective therapeutic support, to enhance the well-being of students and staff.
Our aim is to create a collaborative environment from which the university community can grow, and develop in the areas of academic, psychological, career, spiritual, physical, and social wellbeing.
