The Department of Mathematics Education of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), Kumasi, Ghana is inviting you to an International Webinar on “Modern Strategies in Mathematics Education”. The webinar seeks to present different perspectives of the teaching and learning of mathematics. The presentations will emphasise the role that visualisation plays in the teaching and learning of mathematics, the integration of technology into the curriculum as a means of embracing the 4IR and ideas that surround the decolonising of the mathematics curriculum by including the work of non-western scientists and their contributions into the socio-economic development of the non-western countries.
