Minimum University Requirements
These requirements are to be met in addition to the other programme specific (Departmental) requirements.
Master of Philosophy
Applicants must:
Possess B.Sc., B.Ed., B.A, B-Tech or equivalent degrees with at least, Second Class (Lower Division) in the relevant area of study
Possess M.Tech, M.A, M.Sc, M.Ed, MBA in equivalent degrees in the relevant area of study.
Have attained a total of 36 Credit Hours
Pass a competitive examination/interview conducted by the University
Possess M.Tech, M.A, M.Sc, M.Ed, MBA or equivalent qualification. Successful applicants
will be admitted to the second year, to commence the synopsis presentation and thesis
writing.
Submit at least, two satisfactory academic references.
1-year top-up to Master of Philosophy
Applicants must:
Possess M.Tech, M.A, M.Sc, M.Ed, MBA or equivalent qualification. Successful applicants will be admitted to the second year, to commence the synopsis presentation and thesis writing.
Pass a competitive examination/interview conducted by the University
Master of Arts (M.A)/Master of Education (M.Ed.)/Master of Technology (M.Tech)/Master of Science (M.Sc.)
Applicants must:

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Applicants must:
- A good first degree, preferably second class lower or better (or a Final Grade Point Average of at least, 2.0), in a relevant field of study at AAMUSTED or any recognised/accredited University. Applicants with third class may be considered for admission based on work experience and/or other qualifications.
- Pass a competitive examination/interview conducted by the University.
- Submit at least two satisfactory academic references.
- Possession of at least, two years relevant working experience in the private or public sector will be an added advantage.
Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education
Applicants must:
Possess a first degree from a recognised University in any field of study.
- Possess M.Tech, M.A, M.Sc, M.Ed, MBA or equivalent degrees in the relevant area of study
Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
Applicants must have a first degree or higher qualification from a recognised University in any field of study.
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
Applicants must:
Possess relevant Master’s degree (preferably a research degree) from an accredited University.
Possess an M.Sc. degree with research in the relevant field.
- Pass an interview before being admitted.
- Possession of at least, two years relevant working experience in the private or public sector will be an added advantage.
