The Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) has conferred the first Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree on one of its illustrious students.
Dr. Robert Ampomah’s decoration as the only PhD graduate among 1,190 graduands for the Second Congregation of AAMUSTED, was one of the highlights of the March 15, 2024 graduation ceremony of the University.
He enrolled on the Ph.D Educational Leadership Programme of the University during the 2020/2021 academic year and worked hard to complete it within the three-year stipulated schedule ahead of all his contemporaries.
His research focused on The Relationships Amongst Ethical Leadership of Principals, Tutor Job Satisfaction, and Organisational Commitment in Ghanaian Colleges of Education: The Moderating Role of Gender. He was supervised by Prof. Francis Owusu Mensah of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), and Dr. Philip Oti Agyen of AAMUSTED.
Dr. Ampomah is a Lecturer at the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, Asante Mampong Campus of AAMUSTED, where he teaches Trends in Education and School Management in Ghana, Principles and Practice of Teacher Education and other education courses.
