The Management of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) is pleased to inform the University Community that an amount of Seventy-One Thousand, Six Hundred and Fifty-Five Ghana Cedis (GHS 71,655.00) was realised through the fundraising initiative in support of Mr. Elvis Acheampong, a Level 200 student of the University, currently receiving treatment for stage 5 chronic kidney disease.

On June 26, 2025, the University officially presented the funds to Mr. Acheampong at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), where he is currently on admission.

Management expresses its profound gratitude to all who contributed to this noble cause, including members of staff, individual students, student groups such as the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) and the Social Studies Students’ Association (SOSSA), the Alumni, and other benevolent individuals within the University Community.

This remarkable demonstration of compassion and solidarity reflects the deep sense of unity and collective responsibility that defines the AAMUSTED family.

Management encourages all members of the University Community to continue to remember Mr. Acheampong in their thoughts and prayers as he journeys toward recovery.
