The Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) has successfully organised an Inter-Hall Games to select teams in various sports disciplines ahead of the Ghana Universities Sports Association (GUSA) Games for 2023.

The Inter-Hall Games successfully selected formidable male and female teams in disciplines included football, handball, table tennis, volleyball, and basketball to start preparations for upcoming GUSA events. The June 22 -24, 2023 Games was the second to be organised since the establishment of AAMUSTED on August 27, 2020.

The participating halls were the Autonomy, Atwima, and Opoku Ware II, all in the Kumasi Campus and Amaniampong from the University’s Mampong Campus.

AAMUSTED debuted at the 2022 GUSA Games hosted by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and displayed high level performances that endeared the new entrants to many.

The University is aiming to improve on the successes chalked at the KNUST meet in subsequent competitions to maintain a position as a major force in University Sports in the country.
