A former Dean of the Faculty of Technical Education (FTE) of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), Prof. Joseph Mbawuni has donated quantities of Accounting and Finance Books to beef up the stock in the University Library.

On December 23, 2021, Prof. Mbawuni presented the books, which he said would greatly assist accounting students for their professional examinations. The motivation to gather the books, he said, stemmed from his observation that the Library did not have adequate number of Accounting Books in stock to help learners.

“Therefore, my wife and I gathered the books to support teaching, learning, and research in the University,” he said, pledging to continue looking for more books to enrich the AAMUSTED Library.

Receiving the books, the University Librarian, Mr. Seth Katsekpor, thanked Prof. Joseph Mbawuni for the kind gesture. He assured the benefactor that the Library would ensure the proper utilization and maintenance of the books to support teaching, learning, and research for a long time to come.
