Mrs. Gertrude Effeh Brew is a licensed Guidance and Counselling Professional. She is the Head of the Guidance and Counselling Centre, AAMUSTED.
Gertrude graduated from Holy Child Training College (Takoradi) in 1998. She obtained a Bachelor of Education in Basic Education in 2007. She taught for 17 years. She holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Guidance and Counselling from University of Education, Winneba in 2013. She worked as a Municipal Guidance and Counselling Coordinator at the Effutu Education Directorate between 2015 and 2021.
She joined AAMUSTED in 2021 as a Junior Assistant Registrar. She worked as a Faculty Officer at the Faculty of Environment and Health Education from 2021 to 2023. She also worked briefly at the Industrial Liaison Office, Kumasi campus from September 2023 to January, 2024. She was reposted to the Guidance and Counselling Centre in 2024. Currently, Head of Guidance and Counselling Centre at AAMUSTED.
