I received a PhD degree from the University of Reading, United Kingdom specifically in the area of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Digital Designing and Construction. Before my PhD studies, I worked as a Research Assistant and as a digitally enabled building and structural designer.
To date, my work has been focused on building information modelling implementation, advanced digital and visualisation technologies to support and improve design and construction. I seek to investigate methodologies and develop models to bring more relevance to digital practice in construction management and engineering challenges in developing countries.
As I am working with the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development, I continue to work on designing buildings and structures through the application of relevant digital technologies to contribute to delivering high performing buildings in the construction industry.
