Mr. Gyasi Ficus holds both a Master of Philosophy and a Bachelor of Education in Guidance and Counselling. Before joining the university as a lecturer, he taught at the College of Education and High School. Mr. Gyasi is an astute teacher and licenced counselor. He has served the university in various capacities, such as Coordinator for Guidance and Counselling Services, Coordinator for Teaching Practice and STS, and Departmental Exams Officer, just to mention a few.
His research area included the psychosocial needs of school-going and non-student children, young adults and adults, persons with disabilities, and counselling.
