Dr. Baidoo Philip is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical and Automotive Technology Education of AAMUSTED.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Jiangsu, China. He obtained his two Masters in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Competency Base-Training (CBT) methodology and Bachelor Degree (B.Ed) in Technical at the College of Technology Education, University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Ghana.
Dr. Baidoo also holds a Certificate in Education from UEW, Ghana, and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering at Tamale Technical University (TTU), Tamale, Ghana. Philip is having Motor Vehicle Technician certificates (MVT) I & II, Motor Vehicle Mechanics (MVM) certificates, and GCE ‘O’ Level.
He is a member of several professional bodies including the Ghana Science Association (GSA) and America Association of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). He is a Professional Educationalist with Specializations in Technical Education and Competency-Based Training (CBT).
Dr. Baidoo has over twenty (20) publications to his credit and has won a number of awards. He is an Editorial Member and Reviewer of some International Journals and Conferences including; International Journal of Surfaces and Interfaces Journal of Material Processing Technology.
As a dynamic individual with excellent team work and communication skills, he is always willing to seize the opportunities to learn new skills and work with new technologies which are particularly attractive to him.
