I hold a Master of Arts in Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics from the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast. In addition, I have a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast which enhanced my teaching abilities. In terms of my employment experience, I am currently a Senior Lecturer in Economics and also the Senior Hall Tutor, Opoku Ware Hall, Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development. Presently, I am pursuing PhD in Agricultural Economics at the KNUST. Previously I was a Lecturer and later became a Senior Lecturer at the University of Education Winneba.
I have served as the Acting head of Department, Department of Accounting Studies Education, Undergraduate Programmes Coordinator for the Weekend and Evening Programmes. In addition, on two occasions, I have served as a Faculty Examinations Officer and a Department Examinations Officer in the Department of Accounting Studies Education. With my long-term experience as an Examinations Officer in the Department of Accounting Studies Education and also as Faculty Examinations Officer for the Faculty of Business Education, (FBE), I have acquired much expertise in the management and conduct of examinations as well as the management of the Online Student Information System (OSIS).
I also conduct research, supervise students project works, supervising students on internship and also, I offer academic counselling to students. In view of this, I have gained much expertise in handling courses such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Public Sector Economics, Managerial Economics and Economic Development for Africa. I have also gained much skills in supervising students on internship, project works, counselling, and other research activities.
